Step into a winter masquerade you can actually take part in. Four guided rehearsals help you learn the historic dances, meet other guests, and feel ready to join the Ball on December 18th.

At the Ball, the music, candlelight, costumes, and masks bring the room to life. You already know the dances, so you can step onto the floor and be part of the evening.

Do I Need Dance Experience?
No. The rehearsals are beginner-friendly and teach the dances step by step. The event is designed so first-time guests can participate without feeling lost.
Are Rehearsals Included in My Ticket?
Yes. Your ticket includes four pre-event rehearsals (2 hours each). They are a central part of the experience and help guests learn the dances, meet others, and arrive prepared. Rehearsals take place at Lochdale Community School, 6990 Aubrey Street, Burnaby, BC V5B 2E5.
Do I Need to Bring a Partner?
Depending on your ticket type, you can come alone (Leader or Follower ticket) or with a partner (Couples ticket). See ticket options →
What Should I Wear?
A costume and mask are required. Masquerade, celestial, winter, historical, or romantic details are welcome, provided the outfit remains polished and event-appropriate. See the Costume Inspiration Board →

Is There an Age Restriction?
This event is for guests aged 14 and older. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
What Is the Refund Policy?
All sales are final, but ticket transfers are allowed before the start of rehearsals.
